South Beaverton Youth Cheer

We encourage everyone who has a child on the team to volunteer in some capacity. Like raising children, putting on a youth sports program takes a village and we can use help in many ways- both big and small. Some volunteer opportunities take very little time and others are a season long commitment of time.

We currently have two board positions open if you would like to volunteer. Board members have a say in shaping the program while continuing to support the day to day operations of the program through their involvement. Join a great group of dedicated people that have a similar vision and passion to keep this program strong and growing!

Board Member Positions

Join our board by applying for one of these positions.

1) Apparel Coordinator- work with board and parents alike to coordinate the bow to toe apparel for cheerleaders and coaches. Manage issues that may arise mid-season with fit issues/changes/needs. Help coordinate uniform fitting day and database of uniform sizes afterwards.

2) Facilities Coordinator- work to secure practice spaces for both sideline and competition cheer, working with our local partners for reservations of space and working to securing new locations and partnership opportunities.
